The Device gallery exhibits work that embraces the spirit of invention and ingenuity. Drawn to the juxtaposition between the classical and the usual, the gallery features work bound by artistry and skill, rather than genre and medium.
The gallery displays works of the innovative artists who study the merge between the mechanical, biological and human worlds. There was an outstanding collection of artistic curiosities created by 18 artists from all parts of the world for the opening of the Device Gallery.
The opening reception took place on Saturday, June 19th, 2008, 6 pm to 9 pm.
